Project Deity Academy Blog #112

This is my 83rd blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. Today (July  31st 2015)
I have been working on freeze frames of Ares and Anubis for scene 02 shot 10, where Centeotl meets Ares and Anubis for the first time. 
Today I focused on doing borders for the freeze frames. Doing that will make the freeze frames more appealing. Here are some designs of the borders...

First up, some plain ones ...

here's the final border that bryn had chosen ...

and the final designed border for Nezha's freeze frame ...

 today I was supposed to be doing some backdrop colours 

 but I had decided to scrap that idea and used the colours for the borders instead.

Because I think if the freeze frames were to have a backdrop colour

it'll make the character less appealing to which the characters were supposed 

to be more appealing than the backdrop.

It's just a backdrop after all.

 Coming up soon will be more borders for Ares and Anubis

some colour scheme might be done for them as well

This is my 81st blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. Today (July 29th 2015)
I have been working on freeze frames of Ares and Anubis for scene 02 shot 10, where Centeotl meets Ares and Anubis for the first time.

I also worked on the freeze frame for Nezha as well for scene 02 shot 12, where Nezha is bragging about himself until Anubis shuts him up.

Project Deity Academy Blog #109

This is my 80th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. Today (July 28th 2015)
I continued working on Scene 04 shot 03 where, Centeol and Ares are both together taking a test. Until Horrace pop out of nowhere, turn into a portal and suck Ares out of the classroom.
This time I was working on ... Background characters ~ !

                       Today I have finally animating all the background characters in this shot ~ !
                                                                    First off is ... Chaos

                        the background characters in this shot all have a looping animation
                        Not much has done on chaos. He's just changes his facial expression

       Next we have is Zhu Bajie

His ears just twitch in this shot

Next we have ... Freyr and Tumatauenga

Frey just stares at his test paper and tap his fingers while 

Tumatauenga writes in his.

Lastly for today I have been working on ....

Aphrodite

and Izanagi

who is just stroking his beard up and down

And that's what I had done from this monday until now

Project Deity Academy Blog #108

This is my 79th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. Today (July 27th 2015)
I continued working on Scene 04 shot 03 where, Centeol and Ares are both together taking a test. Until Horrace pop out of nowhere, turn into a portal and suck Ares out of the classroom.
This time I was working on ... Background characters ~ !

I have been working with these background characters and so far only:
Chaos, Zhu Bajie and Freyr have all been animated. I am currently working on Tumatauenga.

There are still two more gods from the right I still have to animate.
Today was a frustrating day for me since it was my first time working with groups in adobe flash CC. They quite complicated  for me to understand especially when I had to break the group and move them so that I can draw in a new pose.
This is the outcome of what I had done today ...

Even though this is what you'll see in the final film. But the full animation takes more than that to finish. As you can see there is still some more fix ups that needs to be done. I'll get to that point a bit later, since we have only 4 more days to finish this short film (group project).

                        Coming up soon will be more little animations to the background characters
                                                               and maybe some fix ups

I continued working on Scene 04 shot 03 where, Centeol and Ares are both together taking a test. Until Horrace pop out of nowhere, turn into a portal and suck Ares out of the classroom.
This is the coloured version of Ares and Centeotl done by me ...

Also this snapshot is the placement of all the characters.
There are some things that are missing from the shot,which is the test papers.

This is the clean up of Ares and coloured version of Centeotl done by me ...

This is the colour version of Ares that I have done so far for this shot ...

This is my 76th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project.Today (July 23rd 2015)
I worked on a new scene and shot which was, Scene 04 shot 03. 
Scene 04 shot 03 is where, Centeol and Ares are both together taking a test. Until Horrace pop out of nowhere, turn into a portal and suck Ares out of the classroom.
This is the rough version done by Bryn and Horrace cleaned by Leigh ....

This is the clean up that I have done so far for this shot ...

Project Deity Academy Blog #104

This is my 75th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. Today (July 21st 2015)
I continued cleaning up on my next shot, which is Scene 02 shot 15. In this shot Centeotl, Ares, Anubis and Nezha are all together along with the sweetcorn plant.
Today I spend the school day working on Nezha. I was having trouble with it to which Nezha's boby seem to be bouncing up and down until by the end of today I was able to fix it.
I also did some fix ups on Centeotl as well.
Which his clean up (with colour) used to be this ...

and then it turned into this ...

After that Scene 02 shot 15 is finally finished and all that's left to do is the background, where I just have to copy and past that off from another scene.
Here's a preview of the final shot (without background and the colours are a bit off)
