Blog Update #04

My fourth blog update for just talking about the things I have done so far ...
Today (for the rest of this week) my class is doing our performance study. So far I have completed my first rough pass (test) of my performance study. And below are some rought sketches about it.

Please stayed tuned for the exposure sheet to my dialogue piece. (and maybe more rough passes of my perfromance study in adobe flash).
 

Blog Update #03

My third blog update for just talking about the things I have done so far ...

Today (for the rest of this week) my class is doing our performance study. So far I have completed the script and on my way to do my rough pass of my chosen dialogue.

INT. ENN'S KITCHEN DAY

Enn is seen near his kitchen bench with a glass of water on a coaster. Inside the glass of water there is a seed of a plant inside it starting to grow. Enn stares at the glass of water with a concerned look on his face and says ...

ENN

(with a concerned look on his face then later get frustrated)

Grow. Grow! Why won't you grow?!

 

I won't be doing much on it for the rest of the afternoon. Due to not having adobe flash install on my laptop but I will be able to work on it once I go back to school tomorrow and work on it at home in the afternoon as well.

Blog Update #02

My second blog update for just talking about the things I have done so far ...
Today (March 15th 2015) I have officially completed my Pitch pack and it includes everything 
that I have done for "Morio's Grand Adventure). It also means that I have completed my animatic and storyboard as well.

The top ten ideas for short film were announced: (In no order)
which includes ...
-Leigh
-Lea
-Bryn

-Zach
-Rumi
It includes four of the top ten that I like. (Bryn, Lea, Leigh and Gino)

I voted for: (Not in order from Top 1 to 5)
Leigh (I like the story and the main character)
Corianne (I thought running foxes might be fun and good to learn)
Gino (I thought it would be interesting to watch it and I want to animate Tubb's mother)
Bryn (I like corn guy and how it has slap-stick gag in it. And that I might get to voice act Ne zha)
Jono (I like the idea of Hades and Zeus fight each other in golf but I think it should have more comedy in it)

Solo Project:
I don't think I will make "Morio's Grand Adventure" my solo project later on,I'm not really convinced its that great of an idea anyway and doing all the characters animations would be too much for me to do.I think my solo project will be one of my personal ideas about a animated music video of my favourite jpop group or just some skits about them(the story hasn't been decided though). Maybe if I am allowed I want to team up with another animator and work on a project together

Plan for the rest of the day:
doing some character designs for my personal project and rest.

Blog Update #01

Today I have completed my storyboard and my animatic to which it took me excatly 

three weeks to complete it all.

Starting next week I will be working on my first ever group project along with my dialogue piece

I have also done some thumbnails of what this peformance animation is going to look like. But it'll have to be later in the day before I can upload it. Anyway other than that my schedule for this week is going to be ... 

Friday (Today) -  finish my backgrounds

Saturday - Finish my character design 

                  [Turnaround sheet and Expression of my main character, Morio] 

Sunday - Finish compling my Pitch Pack [putting it all together]  

Need to finish all of these before Monday next week (March 16th 2015) ~ !

Storyboarding - Morio's Grand Adventure part 05 Final parts

Storyboarding - Morio's Grand Adventure

Part 05

INT. MANSION MAIN HALL MORNING
MORIO steps into the mansion main hall and looks around. Few minutes later a staggering bird slowly drags itself into the room,where it lies down in front of his feet. The bird takes in a deep breath and chirps out in pain. The bird then indicates with his wings to tell Morio that the girl he is looking for lies through the door behind him. He also tells him that he should be aware of the bear that lies just beyond that door. The bird also told him that GRIZZLE is afraid of bees. MORIO nodded back in acknowledgement and shows him the bee that he had caught earlier at the garden just before the bird dies right in front of his eyes.He covers the bird with his shield and right at that moment he hears a loud girly scream coming through the door.

INT. GRIZZLE'S MANSION LIVING ROOM MORNING
MORIO arrives in the next and final room where GRIZZLE is standing right between him and princess apple. To be able to rescue the princess he has to defeat GRIZZLE himself.There was a trick to defeating GRIZZLE and that would be the ZOMBEE.He takes the jug out from under his armour and lets the bee out from inside it. The ZOMBEE buzz around the living room chasing GRIZZLE, who dashes all around the place being scared of it,until it stabs him on his bum and jumps up in pain and ran out of the room.The ZOMBEE lies down on the table tried from all the flying around and MORIO put him back inside the jug. As soon as he did that,he start to sway around while standing still,just as PRINCESS APPLE walked slowly towards him. When PRINCESS APPLE get closer towards MORIO, he becomes still. Princess APPLE said her thanks with a bright smile on her face,and MORIO replied back with a kiss on her hand. But as soon as that happen,MORIO starts to sway around more wildly  and eventually turns into a zombie. As he sways around PRINCESS APPLE becomes scared of him and then without warning MORIO THE PALADIN ZOMBIE eats PRINCESS APPLE up on the spot. Scene fades to black with credits.

INT.MANSION MAIN ENTRANCE MORING
MORIO steps into the main entrance of the mansion where a gigantic zomroom is in his way. To be able to defeat him as well he has to find his weak spot (his back) and slash him down into the ground.But during the battle he was bitten by the zomroom and turn into a half-zombie Right after that MORIO moves on again to the next and last room.

 EXT.MANSION MAIN ENTRANCE – GRIZZLE'S GRAVEYARD EARLY MORING
MORIO arrives at the Grizzle's Graveyard where a ghost of a bear and a little ghost lies between him and the mansion main entrance.To get past them MORIO has to distract the little ghost while trying to get to the bear ghost at the same time.As he get closer to the bear ghost he was able to defeat him instantly by hitting him once on the head. Once the little ghost and the bear ghost was defeated he was able to move on into the main entrance.
