Project Deity Academy Blog #65

This is my 38th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. 
Today (May 23rd 2015) I started on a new shot which is Scene 03 shot 04, where Ares with a evil look on his face looks down at the planet that he made until Centeotl decides to bother him. In this shot I worked on some inbetweens between these key drawings ...

and so far this is the inbetween I did ...

and a breakdown drawing as well ...

 It's not much but I hope I will be able to do more later tomorrow.

And this was what I have been working on for today.

This is my 37th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. 
Today (May 22nd 2015) I continued working on Scene 05 shot 15, where Nezha and Anubis is overlooking a big pile of popcorn, Anubis pick one popcorn up and pops it into his mouth before wagging his tail. So far, today I was supposed to be working on my new shot, but I have decided to work on the background for this shot instead and all day what I have been working on is the background which is from the rough all the way to the final version. When it comes to the coloured version of this background, I had some trouble with the clouds to which I did this ....

 Bryn said the temple looks nice but I need to do some more work on the shading of the clouds. 

So I did another version again ....

But after a few more changes to the cloud using the reference (which is this) ...

I was able to finish the final piece except that we didn't have a colour scheme for the tree yet .

Coming up tomorrow I have a new shot to do, more information will be posted about it soon.

And this was what I have been working on for all of today.

This is my 36th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. 
Today (May 21st 2015) I continued working on Scene 05 shot 15, where Nezha and Anubis is overlooking a big pile of popcorn, Anubis pick one popcorn up and pops it into his mouth before wagging his tail. So far all rough animations (keys, breaks and inbetweens) is done and this time including the dialogue which Anubis says "Hmm ... this is good". This is what I have done ...

Coming up tomorrow I have a new shot to do, more information will be posted about it soon.

This is my 35th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. 
Today (May 21st 2015) I continued working on Scene 05 shot 15, where Nezha and Anubis is overlooking a big pile of popcorn, Anubis pick one popcorn up and pops it into his mouth before wagging his tail. So far the rough animation for Nezha is  done and there was some changes added to it. Instead of the big smile on his face ...

He now has a small smile instead ...

Other than that the rough animation for Anubis is done except for the lip sync and this is what I have done...

There is also a bit where he wag his tail which is just a few frames looping non-stop ...

And that's what I had done earlier today .

This is my 34th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. 
Today (May 20th 2015) I continued working on Scene 05 shot 15, where Nezha and Anubis is overlooking a big pile of popcorn, Anubis pick one popcorn up and pops it into his mouth before wagging his tail. So far the rough inbetweens are done and this is what I have done ...

 I also added a rough cleaned key drawing of anubis as well ...

It seems Bryn has done some changes to it so I think I'll be able to see what he stuff he has changed tomorrow. Also I was planning to do some work on it at home but ...
I have forgotten my tablet pen at the school so there will be no work done tonight. The stuff that I need to do by the end of tonight was: get that head tilt, tail wag, popcorn toss and it also includes the inbetweens as well.  Hopefully I will be able to catch up on what I have missed doing tonight at school tomorrow.
