individual specialist project #174 - individual specialist project part 57

This is my 53rd blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Continued from where I had left off ...


Today (October 23rd 2015) I started on my refinements for the RPG battle mode
and managed to finish it.

My plan for the rest of today is to work on the 
refined mockup for the chinese chess board battle mode
using the rough chess pieces that I did earlier.

Coming up soon ...
will be the refinement to the final mockup

individual specialist project #173 - individual specialist project part 56

This is my 52nd blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Continued from where I had left off ...


Yesterday (October 21st 2015) I started on my refinements for the option menu
with the character selection screen fading behind it like so ....
it took me a whole school day to finish it all up.

Later that day I work on the rough mockup for the 
RPG battle mode

I also started on the rough character chess piece for cao wei ...

as well and finished it.

Today (October 22nd 2015)  I did another rough character chess piece, 
this time for Bei shu and managed to finish that off.


My plan for the rest of today is to work on the 
rough mockup for the RPG battle mode.
Other than that there's supposed to be 
2 more mockups left
rather than I have four more left to do.

Coming up soon ...
will be the refinements of the other 2 mockups:
- The RPG battle mode
- chinese chess board battle mode

individual specialist project #172 - individual specialist project part 55

This is my 51st blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Continued from where I had left off ...


Yesterday (October 19th 2015) I redid my refinements for the main town
starting with the background ....

once that is done, I put the buildings and the interface on top of it
and it turns out like this...

Today (October 20th 2015) however, I had do do some more fix ups 
to the refinements for the main town
and this is what it had finally turned out 
(with just the background)

and together with the finishing touches ...
Finally that's one of the 5 mockups out of the way.

will be the refinements
of the other 4 mockups

individual specialist project #171 - individual specialist project part 54

This is my 50th blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Continued from where I had left off ...


Today (October 18th 2015) I started on the refinements for the environment.
These are the colour schemes I had for them ...

 it turns out that I didn't like any of them 
(they're just too bright to look at)

but I did like the composition and the layout for it,
so from there this is what the refined version look like.

After that I refined the mockup that I did of this ...

and turned it into this ...

it's not much but I am glad that I have finished one of my
refined mockups (there's about 4 more to go).

individual specialist project #169 - individual specialist project part 52

This is my 48th blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Continued from where I had left off ...


Today (October 16th 2015) I  continued  working  on the
refinements for the buildings in the main town.
This is the rough mockup for the main town with the buildings

and the refinements of the building inculde:
the palace gate and item shop

the armoury and the palace
Also as soon as I got back home
I worked on some rough concepts for the interface
and managed to finalise some of them (not in colour)

Coming up soon ...
will be the refinements to the interface 
that are going to be used in the game.
Later it will be the environment
of the main town

individual specialist project #168 - individual specialist project part 51

This is my 47th blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Continued from where I had left off ...


Today (October 15th 2015) I  worked on some rough mockups 
for the game which include a 
character selection screen

and a weapon selection screen

after that I begin working on the refinement of my environment designs
starting with the palace gates
