individual specialist project #123 - individual specialist project part 06


This is my 6th blogspot post for our individual specialist project.

Today (August 15th 2015) I worked on the concept designs of ...


The Archer

This snapshot is of the concept art for the archer
they're just the costume designs
these are the developements of it
and I finalised the design in one go
I kinda don't tend to go overboard when I do the concept designs
Other than that there's about 7 more classes/jobs left to do.
I shall give a full description of the jobs/classes and other things
once they all have been finalised.

individual specialist project #122 - individual specialist project part 05

This is my 5th blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Today (August 14th 2015) I had planned to do some production planning, 
but I did some more concept art instead.
The concept art is of the clothing for the archer ...

I am currently developing the clothing of the archer at the moment.
I did some hairstyle concepts as well ...

to which it will be used along with the hairstyle of the earlier concepts for the jobs


I'll probably just use those hairstyle for my main human character (to be designed)
This is currently where I am at for the week...

There's a lot of concept art to do and hopefully I can get to colour some of them soon.

individual specialist project #121 - individual specialist project part 04

This is my 4th blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Today (August 13th 2015) I have finished some character concepts for the game.
They are just some rough concepts for the jobs/classes in the game, there are eight in total but as the story develops more jobs/classes will be added to it.
The jobs/classes in the game so far are as follows ...

The style and art is not final but the job/classes are.
Also here's a production schedule of how the project is going to be progress (there will be some changes along the way)

individual specialist project #120 - individual specialist project part 03

This is my 3rd blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Today (August 12th 2015) I have been working on the moodboards for the project.

individual specialist project #119 - individual specialist project part 02

This is my 2nd blogspot post for our individual specialist project.
Today (August 11th 2015) I have been working on moodboards are to what the game might look like as a final product. 
So far the title of this project has been made and it's going to be called ....


First part of the moodboard has finished as well.


The first part of the moodboard includes:
- background ideas
- battle concept ideas
- character design art styles 
- interface

individual specialist project Blog #118 - individual specialist project part 01 planning

Group projects for "Deity Academy" is finally over and now we can start on our individual specialist project.
This will be my 1st blog post about it. The project that I have chosen to do is "Concept design" for a RPG video game. So far this is what I am planning to do for it .

Story: Everything was peaceful in the town of Aerilon, until a disturbance was felt across the island of Ani-
nation. This disturbance has caused a lot of deaths and monsters popping out of nowhere.
To figure out the reason why this disturbance is happening a group of heroes set off on a journey to change the world for the better.
Category: Video game
Genre: RPG (Role playing game)
Outline: Single player RPG game
               - The premise of the game is to save the world from the clutches of evil
Game entitles: Non-player characters and monsters are the ones that populate the game.
                       - Main goal is to change the world for the better
                       - other goals may involve helping out a npc or party members with a side quest
Gameplay: Turn-based RPG
Player take turns to fight their opponent, can use special attacks to defeat boss or other monsters
Interface: helps the main character to maintain large amounts of information. This is mainly to do from buying weapons and armour to battling monsters. For example the player maybe doing these type of things ...

Interface used in Pokemon Omega Ruby when the player is buying some items in a shop

Interface used in Atelier Iris Etenra Mana 2 when the player is about to fight the monsters
These two pics are just some references idea for the interface to be used in the making of this game.

Target audience: Ages 25 to 30.
Game sepcs: 25 fps to 40 fps for ipad at 1024 X 768
Reason: This game teaches the importance of friendship and courage and many other things in between. What speacial about it will be the sidequests that tell the gamer more info about the character personalities. Some sidequests ties in with the main story.

Project Deity Academy Blog #117

This is my 88th blog post about Deity Academy, my first ever group project. Yesterday (August 6th 2015)
I continued working on the credits for the end of "Deity Academy". So far i have managed to finish all of it, with the timing been sorted out properly.

I also worked for a bit on the making of but all i can do was this ....


 breaking down the animatic into the scenes and shots that i need. 

Later back at home I did more exporting with the scenes that I have chosen to break down and they are as follows ...

And today (7th August 2015) I compiled the clips that I exported earlier and put it all together into a filed called "the making of". To which I had to re-export 02 shot 15, here's a snapshot of what I had done ... 


Later today I compiled the rest of scene 02 from shot 12 to shot 18, and it took me a long time to export from Adobe after effect.
